Children?
So today i started discussing children with my best friend And we got down to the question of whther we would have the patience and whether or not we would change our personalties or attitudes because of them. For example my friend is not patient!However i believe with the advent of children this will change? But could i be wrong lets hear what you have too say do you think children change us?If so then how? ANd what kinda parent do you think you would make?

Of course everyone wants to be the "Kewl, with It" parent.
something tells me i'll be something of a despot, but a nice despot.
and when they write about me in their grade 3 compositions, it will be with a mixture of awe and respect for The Mommy.
LoL. As best friend u gta be there to tell me when im being too mean. i also wna be the "kewl with it" parent (credits to saaleha for the term!) but i also know that my attitudes will change once im older. maybe protecting my children from the freakos out there is worth more than being the Kewl Mom.. (im feeling a strange connected feeling to my mother right now)
keep the buggers away from me(at least that's been my thought on the matter for the last 22 yrs) because i think i might seriously go insane with snotty faces and that particular whine only a kid can do goes summing like this "maaaaaaaaaaaaa-hhhh-meeeeeeeee, cooooooooome seeeeeeeeeeee here!! where's my shooooooooooooes?"
plus they're brats every minute of the day, unless they're sleeping.Then they're just there. angelic faces belying their terrorist natures.
however, 'tis early days yet, i reserve the right to change my opinion sometime.

Hmm..iv been thinkin bout this too.altho,aftr readin a particularly graphic n painful descriptn of childbirth today,im rethinkin my wantin lotsa kids.i love kids n want 4minimum. But i truly dnt kno how i'l change.from xperience,i kno that kids love me:-) n i kno how to deal with them.but i truly dnt knn how it wil change me.hmm..
In my opinion children change everything however whether its for the better or for the worst its up to the parent. They shouldnt be thought of for example the way queen lestat puts it as being only angelic when they sleep. They should be taken as gifts and the snoty noses and crying and tantrums are just part and parcel of the gift. I think it has to do with having a positive attitude. We mould them and they intern mould us. they teach us responsibility, what it mmeans to hold someone elses life in higer regard than our own and it teaches us sacrifice. A paasge in maturity. I dont think you born a parent but become one and again good or bad its your choice. Everyone wants to be the best parent and we will all develop our own methods.
I love kids and would like to be the "kewl wit it" parent but a line has to be drawn between being cool and being the childs parent so that you dont create a "brat".
Kids? what the fuck are those?

Who me midlife crisis no ways lol not yet anyways hehe no i teas just thinking thats all..Hmmm untill very recently i used to purposely scare the little dudes away from me so that i could have peace and quiet but now im ot so sure i havw a way with them liike it or not and hey woud be nice to have souls kinda like me out there one day hehe.i think they do change you however i what way is to be seen
